The Wayland SEPAC meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month at 7:30pm, unless otherwise noted. All are welcome! Please see locations listed below, or join us via Zoom.

Educational Events
Speaker Series: Autism Spectrum Disorders and Neurodiversity-Affirming Practices
Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom
This workshop, led by Elise Wulff from Aspire MGH, will provide an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders through the lens of Neurodiversity: key diagnostic features, the levels of autism, common strengths and areas for support, and how to promote a healthy strengths-based self-image. Specific recommendations will include an overview of the NEW IEP form, how parents can organize their expertise on their child to most effectively participate as a team member, tools to promote collaboration and communication with the school, and concrete strategies to help your child identify and hold on to their unique strengths.
