Upcoming Webinars

Dear Families,

You are invited to a virtual series of Basic Rights Webinars through the Federation of Children with Special Needs (FCSN). Every year, in cooperation with the SEPAC, each MA school district must make a Basic Rights workshop available to its families. This workshop addresses the rights of students and their parents under state and federal special education laws. Typically, there are three topics to choose from. As our regular in-person workshop was cancelled this year, the FCSN is offering us a series of three webinars – one on each topic. The webinars are taking place on Thursday, 5/28, 6/4, and 6/11 from 6:30-8:30. A live presentation will be followed by a Q&A. The registration links and details are at the end of this email. Please scroll down, register, and join us for one or all!
It’s been a busy few weeks, with the official SEPAC meeting on 5/12 and the Q&A with Allison Wong and Lillian Boscarine from Wong & Boscarine LLC on 5/19! Thank you again to the Weston SEPAC for inviting us to join them for that event. Our standing check-ins on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm continue as well. Please look to FB or contact us at waylandsepac@gmail.com for the recurring Zoom link.

To those of you who are getting this type of email for the first time – welcome! We are here as a resource to you. To stay abreast of SEPAC activities, email us at waylandsepac@gmail.com to get more info and to be added to our contact list. That list is separate from this. You can also check us out at waylandsepac.com.

We hope to connect with you soon!
Best regards,
